Introduction
Situated at the North-East part of the famous Annapurna Mountain Range Chulu West Peak (6,419m) is one of the most splendid and beautiful peaks in the whole Himalayas. The very first ascent of this peak was made by a Japanese Expedition Team in 1953. This adventure brings you closer to the tranquil landscape, traditional cultural heritage, lush vegetation, and the classic mountains in the beautiful Annapurna region. Chulu West Peak is one of the parts of Manang Himal and while climbing the peak, we will be rewarded by stunning views of peaks like Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, and other high peaks. Climbing Chulu West Peak requires you to be physically and mentally fit as it requires a lot of physical effort as a well high level of stamina. With our expert climbing experts, you will learn and practice all the climbing techniques you will need including the use of crampons, ice axes, ropes, etc. We will also get to visit the most famous Hindu and Buddhist pilgrimage site of the region, Muktinath and take a holy bath. Months of Sep-Dec and Mar-May are the best months to go on this adventure.
We begin our trek by driving from Kathmandu to Bulbule. The trail heads towards gradually to one of the highest valleys of the world, Manang Valley. From here we will make our adventure journey towards Chulu West Summit. During your stay in Manang Valley, you'll get to explore Tibetan culture, tradition and lifestyle of local people and warm hospitality. Before we head towards the summit, we must have proper acclimatization and preparation at the camp. After submitting the Chulu West Peak, we return to Jomsom via the Thorong-La Pass and Muktinath. Then we fly back to Pokhara and fly to Kathmandu.

Food
Food will be provided in teahouses itself where food will be prepared in the kitchen which you should not enter without permission. For food, you can choose from the menu like local Nepali food, continental foods, Indian, Italian and Chinese cuisine, etc. For drinking water, you can buy the mineral bottles or safe drinking water from the lodges or tea house either you can bring water tablets purification medicine. During the climbing period, there won't be any teahouses to provide you a quality food so we'll provide you the experienced kitchen crew to prepare hygienic and delicious food for you.
Accommodation
During Chulu West Peak Climbing adventure, Lodges or Teahouses and tents are your accommodation with twin bed sharing room or triple single as your choice and they will provide your mattress, bedsheet, blanket, pillow, etc. You'll find a room with an attached bathroom in a lower height place but most of the tea houses don’t have to attach bathroom and some undeveloped are even no tea houses and lodges in this region so you have to bring all stuff like a tent and all your necessary items. During Climbing days, we provide quality Tent with all the basic facilities. In Kathmandu, you'll be staying in standard rooms at quality hotels with breakfast included.

Day 2 : Drive to Bhulbule alt. 800m.
Day 3 : Trek Bhulbule to Jagat alt. 1300m.
Day 4 : Jagat to Bagachhap alt.2000m.
Day 5 : Trek Bagachhap to Chame alt.2600m
Day 6 : Trek Chame to Pisang alt. 3100m
Day 7 : Trek Pisang to Manang, 3500m.
Day 8 : Manang acclimatizing day
Day 9 : Trek Manang to Yak Kharka alt. 4050m
Day 10 : Trek Yak Kharka to Chulu west base camp, alt. 4900m
Day 11 : Trek base camp to Chulu high camp alt. 5500m
Day 12 : Climb to Chulu west summit(alt. 6420m), and trek back to base camp, alt.5000m.
Day 13 : Reserved day for unfavorable weather condition
Day 14 : West base camp to Thorung Phedi alt.4500m
Day 15 : Trek Thorung Phedi - Muktinath alt. 3800m
Day 16 : Trek to Muktinath to Jomsom alt.2700m.
Day 17 : Fly back to Pokhara or Drive to Pokhara , alt 740m
Day 18 : Drive to Kathmandu , alt. 1300m
Day 1 : Arrive in Kathmandu alt. 1300m.
Upon your arrival at the airport in Kathmandu, one of our airport representatives will receive you and transfer you to the confirmed hotel. After arriving at the hotel, he/she will give you further information about the trek.
Day 2 : Drive to Bhulbule alt. 800m.
After breakfast, we start our drive from Kathmandu at around 6:30 am and it takes 8-10 hours' to reach Bhulbule. The trail offers greeneries, waterfalls, villages, farms, rivers and beautiful mountain sceneries. Overnight at Bhulbule.
Day 3 : Trek Bhulbule to Jagat alt. 1300m.
During our walk to Jagat, the trail goes through the highway where you can have a close insight of the lush hillside and activities of the local people. It takes around 5 hours to reach Jagat from Bhulbule. Overnight stay.
Day 4 : Jagat to Bagachhap alt.2000m.
The trail to Bagachhap continues through rice, potato fields, and pine forests. It is 6 hours of continuous walk from Jagat to Bagachhap. We conclude our trek for a day at Bagachhap and spend overnight.
Day 5 : Trek Bagachhap to Chame alt.2600m
The trail to Chame has a steep forested ridges and several landslides area on route. On the way to Chame, we will have a glimpse of stunning Lamjung Himal, Annapurna II, and Annapurna IV. Overnight at Chame.
Day 6 : Trek Chame to Pisang alt. 3100m
The route to Pisang is very interesting where you'll be surrounded by majestic Himalayan Peaks. After walking through the scenic trail with forest, high mountains and wonderful sites we reach Pisang. Overnight stay.
Day 7 : Trek Pisang to Manang, 3500m.
The trek through Upper Pisang via Geru will let you enjoy spectacular sceneries. We feel like we are just in front of the giant peaks. You can see the majestic view of Annapurna, Pisang peak, and several other high mountains that will allure you. We spend overnight at Manang.
Day 8 : Manang acclimatizing day
One rest day at Manang gives us so much learning opportunity about this region, their culture, tradition and unique kind of lifestyle. The majestic mountains view from our staying place is the main highlight of the day. Overnight stay.
Day 9 : Trek Manang to Yak Kharka alt. 4050m
The trek goes north from Manang valley to Yak Kharka and during our walk, one can have one of the most stunning views on Annapurna, Gangapurna, and Tilicho Peak. Overnight at a local guesthouse in Yak Kharka.
Day 10 : Trek Yak Kharka to Chulu west base camp, alt. 4900m
It is 5 hours of the uphill journey towards Chulu West Base Camp from Yak Kharka. Once we reach the base camp of Chulu West, we can enjoy amazing views of the pristine Annapurna Ranges. Overnight at base camp.
Day 11 : Trek base camp to Chulu high camp alt. 5500m
Today morning after breakfast, we ascend towards Chulu West High Camp. This is a short walk and we have to save energy and prepare for the next day. While other members are busy setting camp, you can enjoy the spectacular mountain views and high camp surroundings. Overnight stay.
Day 12 : Climb to Chulu west summit(alt. 6420m), and trek back to base camp, alt.5000m.
This is the most important day of Chulu West Peak climbing trek as we are putting our step at the summit of Chulu West Peak at 6,419m. After reaching the summit, you'll have an amazing feeling, because climbing up to the height of 6,419m is not for everyone and finally you've done it. It will stay in your head forever for sure. Then we descend to base camp for overnight stay.
Day 13 : Reserved day for unfavorable weather condition
This is a reserved day, if weather favors us, we will descend to Thorung Phedi, otherwise, we will stay at Chulu West Base Camp for a day. It depends on whether we are going to Thorung Phedi or not. Overnight stay.
Day 14 : West base camp to Thorung Phedi alt.4500m
After spending one more day at Chulu West Base Camp, our journey leads you to Thorung Phedi and spend overnight. While going to Thorung Phedi, you can have the majestic mountain views: Mt. Gundang, Mt. Syagang, Thorong Peak and Mt. Khatungkan.
Day 15 : Trek Thorung Phedi - Muktinath alt. 3800m
Today's walk is long and challenging as we go to Thorung high camp and descend to the holiest place in the region, Muktinath. Thorung la Pass is standing at a height of 5,416m and we can have majestic mountain views of Thorong Peak, Gundang and Khatungkan. We descend towards Muktinath for overnight stay.
Day 16 : Trek to Muktinath to Jomsom alt.2700m.
Early morning we visit Muktinath temple, take a holy bath, have lunch and start our trek to Jomsom. After getting blessings from Muktinath, you'll feel peace and feel motivated for the further trek. Overnight at Jomsom.
Day 17 : Fly back to Pokhara or Drive to Pokhara , alt 740m
Today, we fly back or drive back to Pokhara from Jomsom. While you're in Jomsom, you can taste the local Apple product which is very famous in this area. After reaching Pokhara, you can explore the city, visit lakes and enjoy the nightlife of this beautiful city. Overnight stay at Pokhara.
Day 18 : Drive to Kathmandu , alt. 1300m
This is the final day of Chulu West Peak Climbing, after reaching Kathmandu with 6 hours of drive, our team will bid you farewell and drop you to the airport for your flight back home.
